In view of the increasing scarcity of resources and the corresponding rise in their cost, it is necessary to rethink our strategies. Practicable, cost-transparent alternatives and innovations must be elaborated. Among other things, a greater awareness of the importance of environmental protection must be imparted. There is a wide spectrum of offers and information, ranging from wind and hydropower, heating with wood, pellets, and grain, as well as solar technologies, heat pumps, and low-energy houses – all the way up to information from associations and organizations in the environmental sector.
